Colorado: the Continental Divide

July 15, 2013

My family has been going out west for most of my life. The tradition started in 1989, with our first family trip to a dude ranch in Wyoming, and has continued ever since.

Getting to Wyoming almost always involves flying into Denver, and often has involved nights in Boulder and other towns on the Colorado side.

I've gotten a few photos in Colorado, but my favorite is the one taken off the highway at the Continental Divide, the point at which the water runoff splits, with one side going to the Atlantic and the other to the Pacific.

I'd love to live in Colorado some day.
