The city of Baltimore took the St Louis Browns from my grandpa, so starts from a position of weakness in my book. But it turns out to be quite a cool town.
I was there in 2015 for work, and stayed down by the water. I didn't have time to do much exploring beyond walking to and from a meeting and going for a run around the water, but I loved what I did explore, even if it was likely the most touristy part of town.
I also lived for a summer in Maryland, in a town just outside of D.C. called Chevy Chase. I commuted through the District on my way to a job in Virginia, covering three different state or state-like entities each way! It was a HOT commute.
