I needed to be in New York on Monday, December 12. And I also needed to get an American flag vest photo in Delaware. Solution? Take the red-eye Saturday night to Newark, rent a car, and drive to Wilmington.
I visited the Hagley Museum there, and learned about gunpowder and its role in American industrial history.
That day started in California (in the wee hours of the morning, Eastern time), and continued through New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, before ending in New York. What a country we have.
